Practical "how to" sessions to help you develop better games
Develop:Brighton has been bringing together the European Game Dev community from global superstars to micro indies - since 2006. Come and learn from your peers and share your experiences, hear from the industry’s leading lights, get up-to-date with the latest tools, techniques and industry trends, plus network with over 2,000 game dev professionals.
Develop:Brighton 2018 was the biggest and best event yet, with 2,369 game devs joining us by the sea. So, a huge thank you to everyone for coming along and making it so memorable - we really hope you enjoyed the event as much as we did and have gone back to work inspired to make even better games!
We look forward to seeing you next year: 9 – 11 July 2019, Hilton Brighton Metropole, Brighton BN1 2FU

There’s something creative about Brighton, so it’s the perfect place to have the conference.
Building games is hard and it’s taxing physically, mentally and emotionally. So being around a community that understands that is great – there’s a comraderie here.
I’ve been to every single Develop in the last 12 years. One thing you get here is networking - you will meet the most amazing individuals in the video games industry.
If you really want to have a good interface with the British game developer community then this is the place to come.
Develop always gets put in the diary. There are many reasons to be here, not just the talks, but the networking, people exchanging ideas about where the industry is right now and where it’s going to. It’s pretty essential to be here I think.

We are so lucky to have Develop here in the UK. It’s a unique event where you can come and discover new things with people who care passionately about video games. It’s a sea full of new ideas.
Develop is an excellent way of catching up with people – there’s a really nice community feel here.
