Dr Dave Ranyard is a leading figure in the games industry, known for his pioneering work in immersive technologies and innovative game development. Formerly the Studio Head of PlayStation’s London Studio, he played a key role in developing groundbreaking titles including SingStar and early VR experiences for PlayStation VR. In 2016, he founded Dream Reality Interactive (DRi), an independent game studio focused on creating cutting-edge experiences across VR, AR, and mobile platforms. Dave holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and has been a prominent voice in the global games community, serving as an advisor to the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco for over 18 years.
