George Nianias is the Founding Partner & CEO of Factortech, a venture finance firm specialising in non-dilutive growth-stage funding for tech SMEs. With over 30 years in financial markets, George began as a banker with Citibank London and went on to lead Fixed Income Risk at SG Warburg, advising the Bank of England and managing a €1 billion East European SME private debt fund—winning global recognition as Best Credit Fund in 2006 (factortech.co.uk). He holds a BA in Mathematics from Athens University and continued toward a DPhil at Oxford. George’s supervisor was Alan Turing's star pupil, Robin Gandy. His expertise spans debt advisory, structured finance, and scaling high-growth tech through alternative funding, making him a prominent leader in corporate finance and sustainable growth.
