Calling all indie developers with a new game!
The Indie Showcase is an opportunity for indie game developers to get their new game seen & experienced by one of the biggest game dev audiences in the UK.
Entries are shortlisted by a panel of industry experts and whittled down to 10 finalists. Those finalists will then showcase their game within the Develop:Brighton Expo, giving thousands of attendees the chance to play, discover & champion your work. Finalists will be in the running for two awards:
- Indie Showcase Winner: Chosen by a team of industry professionals
- People’s Choice Winner: Voted for live by Develop:Brighton attendees
It’s completely free to enter and all 10 finalists will receive a free 3 day conference pass, pre-event publicity and a profile on the event website.
The deadline for entry is Wednesday 6 May 2026.
The Indie Showcase is open to:
- Studios with no more than 15 employees
- Studios and games that are non-publisher funded
- Games which are not published by a third party at the time of submission
- Games that have a development budget of less than £1m
- Games that are created in the "indie spirit"
