WorkWise for Screen

WorkWise for Screen is a £1.5m pilot programme providing the industry’s screen businesses with practical resources and guidance to support equity, inclusion, dignity and respect in the workplace.
Supported by the BFI awarding National Lottery funding and developed in consultation with industry stakeholders across all four nations, WorkWise for Screen is a free to access online platform, a podcast series, a live events programme, e-learning modules, and a peer-to-peer network targeted at screen sector SMEs and Heads of Department, in production, animation, VFX, gaming, distribution and exhibition. A growing and evolving resource, content covers a range of topics addressing the most pressing issues related to good working practice including contracts, management, welfare, diversity, skills and careers. It offers sector specific guidance to help industry navigate UK employment law under the new Employment Rights Bill along with legal contracting and policy templates.
WorkWise for Screen is delivered by a small team with a wealth of expertise that draws on the experience of producers, the guidance of industry bodies and the technical know-how of screen, legal and HR professionals.
