About GamesAid

Games Aid is the games industry charity raising money for other UK charities working with children and young people.

Games Aid acts as a collective for charitable activity on behalf of the industry, taking advice from all sectors. It is a non-trading body. The charity is administered by Trustees, who operate on a fixed-term basis. It is formally run by a Chair, who is also on a fixed term.

Games Aid is an umbrella charity raising money for a number of charities that support children and young people. Each year our members will nominate charities that they wish us to support and then the membership will vote on who should receive the funds that we raise.

Games Aid's mission is to use the skills and passion of the gaming industry to raise funds for these causes.

Our charities for 2023/2024

Each year GamesAid provides funds to charities supporting young people and children. This year, we've selected our five causes in advance so you know exactly who you're fundraising for and supporting in 2023/2024.

Game Therapy UK - Game Therapy UK provides evidence-based therapeutic gaming to socially isolated groups.

Solving Kid’s Cancer - Solving Kids’ Cancer UK is a parent-led charity specialising in the rare childhood cancer, neuroblastoma. Our vision is for a future where no child dies from neuroblastoma or suffers due to treatment.

Autistica - Autistica is the UK’s autism research and campaigning charity. We use evidence to develop solutions, shape better services and influence policy to enable autistic people to live happier, healthier, longer lives.
