Philip is a seasoned Business Development Manager who currently leads Tencent Cloud’s gaming interests in Northern Europe. His early games industry experiences at Nintendo centered around the launch of 3DS and he has worked in many parts of both hardcore and casual gaming space, across most platforms and many genres. Philip has a variety of gaming experiences at Intel, GREE, and SpiritAI and has applied his deep understanding of games and its trends to Tencent’s ambitions outside of China. Currently based in UK but led by a growing team out of Amsterdam. Philip will be speaking on “The Importance of Quality Immersive Social Integration When Bringing Games to Asia”, focusing on the need for cultural appreciation, quality in-game social experiences, and the growing expectation for AAA experiences on mobile, a need currently met by Tencent’s innovative technologies.
