Inel Tomlinson is a multi-award-nominated actor, comedian, presenter and voice over artist known for his magnetic charisma and versatile talent across television, film, video games and the digital sphere.
As one half of Johnny & Inel, the UK's first Black comedy double act, Inel rose to prominence with their hit CBBC TV show, The Johnny & Inel Show, showcasing his diverse acting and writing skills through a plethora of colourful comic roles.
Inel's on-screen acting work includes his appearance in the Netflix feature film Christmas on Mistletoe Farm and prominent roles in various TV series across the UK. He is a main cast member of the critically acclaimed Horrible Histories, where his on-screen performances are a key part of the show's beloved ensemble. Other television credits include Horrible Science, Pickle Storm, The Joy of Missing Out, Diddy TV, All Over the Place, and Bull.
Inel is a prolific voiceover artist, lending his vocal talents to numerous animated series, video games, and commercial campaigns. His credits include bringing to life characters in popular children's programmes such as Netflix’s Hilda, Hey Duggee (as Roly's Dad), The Rubbish World of Dave Spud, Prince Ivandoe, Dog Squad (as Toffee), Wonderblocks (as Frog/Medium Bear), Supertato (as Banana), and voicing Agent A Gent in the Zig and Zag animated series.
He has also contributed to major video games like Final Fantasy XVI, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, The First Descendant, and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II, demonstrating his range across different genres.
Further cementing his connection to the gaming world, Inel is a co-host of the popular podcast "Press X to Continue," delving into the latest in video game news, reviews, and chat. He also regularly hosts the BAFTA Young Game Designers Awards, celebrating the next generation of creative talent in the gaming industry.
In the commercial realm, Inel is the distinctive mascot voice of the international brand Bulldog Skincare, and famously brought Lloyd the Love Bird to life for the Just Eat Love Island campaigns. He also led the award-winning Belvita advert as the charismatic train announcer George endearing himself to audiences across the country.
On the live stage, Inel is a celebrated stand-up comedian. His unique blend of comedic timing, nostalgia, and an eye for the ridiculous consistently leaves audiences in stitches. He is also the founder of Kinetic Comedy, a lively multicultural event and production company that champions up-and-coming comedy acts.
His hosting experience extends to events for Comic Con, BAFTA, and Netflix, and he has been the voice of Comedy Central UK for over 7 years.
