Andrew Oliver, along with his brother Philip, has been making games since the early ’80s. Having been reasonable for over 200 video games, many story-based games and nearly all of them with characters that spoke. Even their Spectrum games from the mid-80’s had voices, their own! They have not only used voices for characters speaking in games, but also for control. Using the Microphone as the input on their Karaoke Revolution games and American Idol. To the Acting game Yoostar and multiple Kinect games that used simple voice input for control.
