Kate's career began in digital production during the dot com boom of the early 2000s. After 10 years, starting in UX, she quickly found a talent for nurturing both products and teams, eventually moving into Business Development and Operations.
Formerly COO of Unreal specialists Cooperative Innovations and pioneering ‘Play with Purpose®’ studio Preloaded, Kate is a strategic operations leader with over two decades of experience across digital and games. She is now CEO of Studio Heft.
Having served as a UKIE board member and been listed amongst the top 100 women in games in the UK by MCV, Kate is extremely passionate about the future of the games industry - in all its forms.
