Will Doyle is the creative director of the Dark Pictures Anthology: a series of intense, cinematic horror games released annually by Supermassive Games in partnership with Bandai Namco Entertainment. Will is a veteran of the UK Games industry, having worked previously in senior creative roles at Frontier Developments, Pivotal Games, and HotGen Studios.
This lecture explores the processes that Supermassive Games employs to craft branching narrative adventures, and examines techniques for creating horror in the Dark Pictures Anthology. This talk contains some mature content.
