About the conference

The Develop:Brighton conference is the must-attend event in the European games development calendar. Learn from your peers and share your experiences, hear from dev superstars, the sharpest indie newcomers and some of the brightest minds in the games industry. Plus, get up-to-date with the tools and techniques that will give your studio an edge.
And all this with a friendly, relaxed vibe by the beach in July - what's not to like?

This year we're doing things a bit differently. The main conference will now run across all three days not just Wednesday and Thursday, and Evolve will become a track within the main conference programme rather than a stand alone event on Tuesday.
This means more sessions to choose from across all tracks on any day!

It's all about you - the devs

As always our programme will be guided by some of the industry's leading figures as well as previous attendees, and our content aims to appeal to every level of the game dev community, from one-man studios to giant developers and publishers, business managers to graphic artists.

With the focus firmly on practical takeaway and insights that you can use once back at your desk, our three-day event unfolds across these tracks - Design, Art, Coding, Business, Evolve, Indie and new for this year Discoverability - how to attract and retain a paying audience.

The Audio track runs all day on Thursday and we offer free sessions for start-ups and micro indies in the Indie Bootcamp on Wednesday and Thursday within the Expo.
