David Banner
David Banner, aka Dai, is co-founder, co-owner and Managing Director of Wales Interactive. He is a multi-awarding winning Games Director with over 50 accolades achieved to date including BAFTA Cymru Games Award Winner 2012, Appster Award for Best Indie Game Developer 2014 and Great Face of British Business Winner 2015. He has worked in the video games industry as an Artist, Designer & Director since 1995. He started his career at Eidos Interactive in London and over the years worked for many different games development companies and publishers. He has a vast knowledge of all aspects of the games industry including development, marketing, publishing and distribution.
Wales Interactive is a multi-award winning video games developer & publisher. We pride ourselves in being an unshackled independent developer making our own ideas exclusively from our Pencoed studio in South Wales. This includes all writing, design, programming, art, music, marketing and we even publish our own games. As well as creating our own titles we have evolved into an Indie Game Publishing Label collaborating with some of the most talented indie games developers across the globe to help bring their original creations to new platforms. We are also shortlisted in the Develop Awards 2017 for Publishing Hero which is our studio's 60th award nomination to date.
