Earlier this year, Epic Games partnered with the Wellcome Trust to launch the Big Data VR Challenge. PlayWest is a new Bristol based game studio supported by the UWE Bristol, aiming to take games technology to the real world through multiplayer experiences. Current projects include our massively multiplayer local party game Kachiku64 (with upcoming world record attempt for most connected local players), a 10 player supersonic drag racing and management game inspired by @BloodhoundSSC that allows players to race cars from the 50 years of records attempts against one other, as well as Super Trash Heories our European Green Capital Digital Challenge retro side-scrolling arcade game about food waste.
